Program Development Manager

Our well respected, Edmonton based client with provincial reach is seeking a strategic Program Development Manager. You are business – operations focus and collaborate closely with your team to create ideas and develop plans. You are strategic, and have experience developing programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish annual strategic goals and objectives for the HR and OH&S programs and services.

  • Work in collaboration with leadership team to establish budget and strategic plan for HR and OH&S programs and services.

  • Represents the organization to government, stakeholders and membership & assists in developing engagement strategies.

  • Develop, implement and maintain programs using a project management approach.

  • Lead and manage departmental staff.

  • Provides all reporting documentation for WCB, internal planning and analysis and relevant stakeholders including reports, statistics, briefing materials etc.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in business, administration or related field.

  • CHRP, HR Management certificate, or OHS certificate may be considered an asset.

  • Working knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and related legislation.

  • Proven project management skills.

  • Experience with leading and managing a team.

  • Prior experience working in the hospitality industry may be considered an asset.

  • Financial knowledge and budgeting skills.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

  • $80,000 per annum
